Utility Service Application

Thank you for submitting your application for utility services with the City of Goodyear. You should receive an email shortly confirming your submission. Please allow up to 24 hours to receive the email. If you have any questions please call Customer Service at 623-882-7887.

Sanitation only accounts will be charged a $50.00 activation fee. All other residential accounts will be charged a $200 deposit and a $60.00 activation fee and will be payable on your first bill. Commercial accounts will be charge a $250.00 deposit for 2" meters and smaller, a $650.00 deposit for 3" meters and larger and a $60.00 activation fee which is payable on the first bill. If you are requesting same day service, your account will be charged an additional $50 same day fee. Any application that is received after 3PM, will be processed the next day.

The $200.00 deposit will be waived if you signed up for Surepay and remain on the program for 12 months. It can also be waived if you provide letter of credit from another utility company (water, sewer, trash, electricity, or gas) showing perfect payment history for a 12 month period within the last 18 months. The letter of credit must be received within 10 days of submitting your application.

If you are renting the home, a copy of the entire signed lease needs to be received by the City before your application can be processed.

Your application will be deemed complete once all the required information has been received by the City of Goodyear.

If you are a current or past customer and owe any previous amounts to the City of Goodyear, a customer service representative will contact you for payment. Past due accounts must be brought current before the new account can be set up.
